Roundel is Target's entry into the media business; an advertising sell-side business built on the principles of first party (people based) data, brand safe content environments and proof that our marketing programs drive business results for our clients. The Senior Account Executive, Performance & Search, Partner Solutions Group, works with the world's most recognized brands and agencies in the industry. You will be responsible for delivering on revenue goals by developing excellent relationships with your partners (internal and external) and clients, prospecting and creating sales opportunities. You will deliver highly-integrated and effective solution-based packages for Roundel, ensuring appropriate search tactic participation and stakeholder adoption. You will present strategic recommendations based on your client's key objectives through compelling and effective guidance on specific media tactics. Your status as a trusted, internal liaison, coupled with the acute knowledge of the digital media industry's challenges, will help establish key relationships with decision-makers, allowing you to navigate complex organizational hierarchies to unlock further investments.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Drive revenue growth by building a strong pipeline of opportunities, identifying, qualifying and securing advertising revenue commitments from both current and new, prospective clients.
  • Lead client strategy, negotiations and provide solutions by being a consultant and client advocate, aligning Roundel's search solutions and services with client needs
  • Present to and educate current or prospective clients on the value of Roundel's search solutions and how these solutions strategically fit into their marketing strategies Partner on the entire sales cycle for your accounts, while empowering your internal partner teams of audience, media and creative experts, to bring industry leading solutions that drive meaningful results to clients with integrity and transparency.
  • Provide monthly account updates, pipeline reporting and revenue forecasts to Roundel leadership.
  • Be the SME on your product, understanding superior product knowledge to answer internal and external questions and inquiries, guiding partners and clients in education
  • Ability to lead and mentor peers and partners in the interest of advancing skills, knowledge and discipline
  • Develop a strong, collaborative working relationship with 3rd party service providers, account managers and account executives to foster cross-channel excellence.
  • Champion planning routines and set best-in class examples on routine performance and sales motion evaluation.

About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years digital media sales, digital media planning, agency and/or marketing experience
  • Proven track record of revenue growth and accountability for sales revenue of $10M+
  • Extensive knowledge of the digital media environment, trends/technologies and agency landscape
  • Thrives in ambiguity and able to flex with changing priorities
  • Excellent partner and collaborator with cross functional teams is a must
  • Ability to think strategically, problem solve and identify opportunities
  • Viewed as a mentor and leader to peers and partners
  • Strong, succinct communicator that understands individual audience needs and tailors the message
  • Must be willing to travel as necessary for maximum client and/or agency coverage
  • Exceptional understanding of the full media planning process-from strategy and plan development to execution.
  • Experience with other Retail Media Network on-site Search solutions as well as 3rd Party providers (eg. Criteo, Citrus) is ideal.

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target. The salary range is :$109,000.00 USD - $196,200.00 USD.
