A role with Target Printing Services means that you'll be part of a team that leads Target's Value communication strategy and brings holistic promotional and value stories to life for Target's guests.

As a Maintenance Technician you will be the dedicated expert who supports a profitable business by ensuring that assets are functional, and services are completed. In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Identifying and executing preventative and corrective maintenance on print and bindery assets and equipment.
  • Influencing and teaching operators of equipment on troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
  • Influencing production managers by educating them on issues that arise from operators on their teams.
  • Working with vendors and influencing timely completion of their work, while minimizing cost.
  • Managing the cost of all repairs and understanding when parts need to be replaced.
  • Ordering parts and following up with vendors to ensure they are received promptly.
  • Partnering with production managers weekly to assess functionality of equipment and assist in improving equipment performance to increase efficiency of each workcenter.
  • Following safety procedures and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment (Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, etc.), and ensuring a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards.


About You:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with General Industrial Maintenance or a Certificate in General Industrial Maintenance or related technical degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing print and bindery equipment from large format Litho presses to shrink wrappers.
  • Knowledge of Air Compressor Service, Industrial Ventilation, Electric Motors and 3 phase power a plus.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Experience managing Work Orders in Maximo or a similar platform.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds.
