ASSOCIATE QUALITY ANALYST - MARKETING

Position Description
As the Associate Quality Analyst - Marketing, you will be responsible for test planning, documenting, coordinating, and executing activities related to the testing of UCare user interfaces and websites. Testing will include manual and automated test development and execution for functional, regression, and performance testing required to meet the business requirements. In addition, you will be responsible for following Quality Assurance standards and best practices. You will need to possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work with business requirements and concepts. You must demonstrate a track record of communicating effectively and working in a team environment with the business user community, technical teams, and end-users to successfully develop and implement quality changes into production. You will serve as a liaison between the business and IT to support Run the Business activities as they relate to technology being delivered to the business.
• Collaborate with business partners, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Team Members, Vendors, Subject Matter Experts, and end users to design, plan, execute, and validate test scenarios, scripts, or procedures to test system modifications and receive business user acceptance prior to implementation.
• Collaborate with business partners, Marketing Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Content Leads, Creative Leads, Team Members, Vendors, and Subject Matter Experts to design, plan, execute, and validate webpages meet the business requirements prior to publishing.
• Develop testing programs that address areas such as user scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, accessibility or usability.
• Identify, analyze, and document problems with website and portal functions, screens and content.
• Document defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to developers, project managers, and product owners. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track success.
• Design and create automated test scripts and scenarios using Selenium.
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
• Participate in product design reviews, providing input on functional requirements, product design, schedules, or potential risks.
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
• Achieve a service-focused culture with emphasis on delivering on-time, high-quality products and services to internal and external customers.
• Comply with standards and tollgates of the software development lifecycle and follow strategies, plans and procedures within IT.
• Comply with standards and process of the content development lifecycle and follow strategies, plans and procedures within Marketing.
• Contribute to, suggest and implement process improvements that will accomplish team, department and business goals. Strive for efficiency, consistency and effectiveness.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Required Experience
At least two years of Quality Assurance testing experience. Experience with specific phases of the software and content development life cycle, especially requirement development analysis, test planning, execution and content reviews. Experience in translating business requirements into testing specifications and test scenarios. Strong analytical skills and experience with test automation. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance Best Practice methodologies.
Preferred Experience
Experience in health care or managed care. Experience with Project Lifecycles; content quality reviews for web content, accessibility, and usability testing.
