A role on the Enterprise Insights team means you will be a champion for our current and future guests, inspiring the organization to act in their best interest. Under your leadership, your team will help partners build consumer-centric strategies and activations.

As a Director, Experience Measurement Insights, you will report to the Sr. Director, Guest Experience Insights and will have responsibility for growing Target's experience measurement capabilities. You will be responsible for continuously improving the insights from the program and in partnership with cross-functional peers, building actionable plans to continuously improve Target's guest experience. Additionally, this leader will be responsible for creating capabilities to benchmark Target's guest experience to those of other retailers including our core competitive set.

Additionally, you will work with your direct reports to ensure the business opportunity is clearly articulated, build a hypothesis-driven framework, scope, and ensure the best method is employed given business needs and constraints and communicate insights in a manner that impacts business choices. You will also be responsible for guiding and developing future Insights leaders.

About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of work experience in Marketing Research, Consumer Insights, and/or Experience Insights
  • Client-side experience leading customer experience (CX) capabilities and experience with CX platforms (e.g. Qualtrics, InMoment, SMG, Medallia)
  • Strong knowledge of qualitative, quantitative, syndicated and first-party insight tools
  • Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate complex findings to focus on the critical implications and opportunities
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills


This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target. The salary range is :$123,100.00 USD - $221,600.00 USD. Pay is based on several factors which may include, but are not limited to education, work experience, certifications, labor markets, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
