Job Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer
Keyva, LLC, headquartered in Medina, Minnesota (Hennepin County), has an opening for a Sr. DevOps Engineer to collaborate with application developers, infrastructure engineers, and others to automate and accelerate design, deployment, release process, and operations for various applications and/or system components. Facilitate technical and procedural consistency within a team focused on implementation; service delivery; and support of products, systems, networks. Drive initiatives for reducing incident rates; work with levels of infrastructure and operations to improve service recovery times; develop implementation processes to ensure all aspects of operability are delivered per automation, operations standards, and best practices. Deliver microservices based architectures for application platforms, evaluate Kubernetes & Docker implementations, and improve continuous deployment of processes using Jenkins to build pipelines and database migrations for zero downtime deployments. Use other tools and technologies, such as AWS, Ansible, Python, to evaluate existing systems and support system requirements for technical and business application initiatives. Position allows for option to telecommute from a home office anywhere in the mainland United States. Must be willing to travel to Kevya, LLC headquarters roughly three to five times per year for company events.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Sciences, Computational Sciences, Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field
- Two years of experience
- Collaborating cross functionally to automate and accelerate design and operations for infrastructure architecture solutions
- Modifying and testing Kubernetes & Docker implementation
- Translating business requirements into software design for development of new or modified automated systems
- Improving continuous deployment processes using Jenkins or other DevOps pipeline tools
- Delivering microservices based architectures for platforms
- using at least five of the following technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, AWS, Ansible, Python.

Current Salary: $118,000/year
Prevailing Wage: $87,256/year
