A role in Corporate Real Estate means the opportunity to develop and execute a long-term, flexible real estate strategies for Target's global non-retail portfolio; delivering best-in-class environments and experiences in workspaces to reflect the forward leaning culture of the organization. You will be a key player on a team that manages the lifecycle of the non-retail portfolio; including site selection, negotiation of terms for new and existing locations, interpret program and scope details for building out spaces (new and remodel) balancing with schedules and budgets while keeping the internal team and vendor partners aligned with effective communication. You'll drive value through optimized performance, effectiveness, longevity and impact of non-retail facilties. Here, your work will exceed the needs of both Target team members and visitors, delivering a holistically positive and pleasing experience, every time they walk through our doors.

As a Sr. Sprecialist Building Operations you'll be responsible for the maintenance, operations, and repairs of the headquarters properties as directed, including HVAC systems, lighting systems, door hardware, restroom plumbing systems, life safety systems, and the building management system. Responsibilities also include responding to work order requests by utilizing a robust work order system and teamwork on other special projects as directed.

About you:
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in the building maintenance field with a broad base of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building systems
• Skilled in the operation of hand and power tools
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to work at heights of up to 25'
• Ability to learn PC skills, especially for programs associated with building management systems, life safety systems, and work order applications
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Special Low Pressure boiler's license where required
