Best Buy Co., Inc., headquartered in Richfield, Minnesota, has an opening for a Senior Manager, Financial Services. Manage US and Canada (USaC) financial services function, enhancing Best Buy Canada's private label credit program. Establish and manage USaC processes & projects; take ownership of strategic & transformative initiatives, ensuring they are supported with business cases and delivered on time and on budget; work with functional teams at Best Buy & issuing partners to ensure programs are optimized across Best Buy's sales channels & merchandise categories; interact/communicate program performance with Directors; manage BBY operational, back office and reporting functions as well as peer relationships with vendors; manage implementation of new credit/payment programs including engagement of internal/external stakeholders, oversight of user experience development, participation in business case development, integration of stakeholder reporting along with management of ongoing test initiatives; and establish/manage USaC functions that facilitate cross-border sharing of best practices and thought leadership and identify opportunities for scale optimization and operational efficiencies. Drive growth & profitability initiatives for Best Buy Canada's PLC program with a focus on acquiring new relationships & strengthening existing relationships; establish/manage a PLC field proficiency program to enhance associate & leader engagement across Best Buy Canada's 170+ retail locations. Request bachelor's degree or equivalent foreign degree in Finance or Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, plus three (3) years of experience performing consumer financial services in the consumer electronics industry for a multinational company. Experience must include managing credit card portfolios, leading multifunctional and geographically dispersed teams, negotiating contracts with third-party vendors, and performing global procurement procedures and risk and fraud platform implementation.
