Delos Living LLC (F/T Rochester, MN) – Duties Inc: Lead the dvlpmnt of innovative methods for measuring indoor environmental quality & mngg building systems w/ the goal of improving human health & well-being. Generate, design, plan & execute research protocols including writing proposals for external grant funding & internal proposals for experiments. Pos req Masters in Mechanical, Environmental, Building Science/Performance, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or a rel field & 3 yrs of exp in job offered or as a research anlyst, building sci eng, environmental eng or rel pos. Prior exp must inc 3 yrs of exp: Dvlping & leading research prjcts; working w/ human subjects under IRB approved study; using, collecting, & analyzing physiological data w/ wearable devices; understanding of medical, scientific, or clinical research techniques & principles of planning, executing, & reporting human research studies; IRB protocol writing & submission; collecting, processing, & analyzing indoor environmental quality data, including air quality, lighting, acoustic, & thermal properties of the built environment; calibrating, maintaining, & troubleshooting various kinds of environmental research grade instrumentations & low-cost sensors. Exp working w/ large datasets & statistical programming, including but not limited to: Python, R, MATLAB, & C#; database, SQL, & data pipeline dvlpmnt. implementing Internet of Things (IoT) systems & architecture; Demonstrated track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals & presenting at conferences.
