Description: The pay range is :$123,100.00 - $221,600.00

Right on pace with Target's distinctive retail brand, Target Store Operations is continuing to transform the way it operates. Here, your work directly supports the store mission to be the guest favorite through successfully developing and communicating the processes for operations, style and experience, new structures, new operating models and new technology, and utilizing workforce management activities for our 1,800 locations nationwide. Store Operations manages and enhances the informational resources for researching and resolving operational issues, while guiding and communicating with the field team and leaders who use them. A role with Fulfillment Operations means a big opportunity to apply your operations, logistics, and fulfillment experience to improve the strategies that fuel fulfillment processes like Pickup, Ship from Store, and other upstream operations.

As a Principal, Stores Fulfillment Strategy, you will be responsible for developing stores operational strategies and innovation priorities in alignment with the enterprise's Fulfillment strategy. You will lead the enterprise's thinking on the future of Stores Fulfillment by understanding retail and omni-channel fulfillment trends, competitors, and guests to develop strategies that meet future needs in the ever- and fast-evolving retail landscape. You'll also drive the execution of numerous strategy projects and innovation initiatives to ensure Target's stores are positioned to deliver on our long-range Digital growth plans. You will lead problem solving, execution, synthesis, and communication of results across a variety of enterprise partners. By managing relationships with leaders across Store Operations, Supply Chain, Digital, Merchandising, and you'll drive strategic business decisions and prioritize the best drivers of future growth.

About You:
  • Four year degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of relevant industry and functional experience in operations, retail, ecommerce, inventory management, process improvement, strategy or supply chain
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail, while staying focused on enterprise and company priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience leading strategic dialogue among senior executives and collaborating with various cross-functional teams
  • Skilled at forming business relationships and influencing leaders across functions and levels
  • Strategic mindset and experience translating business strategy, industry, competitive and consumer research into actionable opportunities and priorities
  • High accountability for team results while working as a peer leader across the organization
  • MBA and/or prior management consulting or Fortune 100-level corporate strategy experience preferred
