A role in Financial Reporting calls on your skills of accurate financial reporting and accounting while providing thoughtful and responsive support, expertise and guidance to business partners. Your role will be critical to ensuring the success of Target's business initiatives, retail operations, and income tax compliance.

As Sr. Manager of Financial Reporting, you will lead the team of three accountants responsible for the accounting for Target's financial products and payment acceptance in our retail stores. You will work closely with Product teams and multiple Finance and Accounting teams to ensure transactions are recorded accurately for our shareholders and our guests. You will be a strategic partner with our Product teams to bring new financial products and services to our guests. Lastly, you will play a key role in ensuring our monthly close process runs smoothly.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience

• Minimum 6-8 years accounting, finance, or relevant business experience

• Strong accounting skills, including knowledge of GAAP & SOX

• Strong business partner, able to collaborate with teams across the organization

• Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams

• Strong skills in verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, along with proven decision making and analytical skills

• Digital acumen, including data analysis and process automation
