Housing Specialist - Rental Assistance

At the Scott County CDA, we invest in possibilities to live and work in Scott County. In this role, you will be a vital part of the housing department by managing a caseload of Housing Choice Voucher rental assistance participants which includes determining eligibility for housing assistance and providing explanation of programs and reviewing the content of various documents; assessing the need for rent calculations and processing changes by verifying appropriate information; maintaining accurate files; records and posting actions and changes to Agency computer systems.

Do I qualify?

You will need 3-5 years of experience serving diverse populations in rental assistance program administration or subsidized property rental and leasing.

You will need Bachelor’s Degree with coursework in housing or business administration, social work, or related field. Equivalent combined education and experience will be considered by having of 5-7 years of directly related experience for an Associate’s Degree and 7-10 years of directly related experience for a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
