Cargill, Incorporated seeks a full-time North American Data Science Leader based in Wayzata, MN. The North American Data Science Leader is responsible for leading a team and is a hands-on data scientist responsible for the development of highly complex proof of concepts, minimum viable products and fully deployable solutions. This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Predictive Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field and three years of related experience. Must also have 12 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) building machine learning tools based on computational systems that learn from and adapt to the presented data; (2) developing Demand Forecast models using techniques including ARIMA, ARMAX, and VARMAX; (3) using supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms to solve problems including creating a clustering algorithm using a k-means technique; (4) building Linear Programming and Mixed Integer Linear Programming Optimization models to solve inventory and scheduling optimization problems; (5) utilizing business analytics tools, including at least two of the following: Tableau, Spotfire and Power BI, to build intuitive dashboards based on user needs; and (6) utilizing at least two of the following tools and technologies: Python, Gurobi, Cloudera Workbench, and AWS/Sagemaker.
