JOB POSITION: Product Manager
LOCATION: 7000 Target Parkway N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445
DUTIES: Work in the product model and be a part of developing the product strategy and related roadmap, while ensuring key business objectives (OKRs) are being delivered upon for the respective analytics product for Target Stores. Manage reporting and analytics platforms including creating dataset, building metrics, an developing analytics, reporting, and dashboard solutions; Leverage the knowledge of product, as well as customer feedback and establish other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for the product; own the prioritization and delivery of insights and analytics to store teams and partners within headquarters; work through the prioritization process, decompose the request into a series of questions that can be answered leveraging the reporting and analytical capabilities used by the team; lead a product and work in unison with process owners, data analysts, and data engineers to deliver a product; lead migration of price change and planograms datasets, report, dashboards, and analytics to more robust data structure; be the "voice of the product" to key stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful; collaborate with teams across the enterprise to develop cohesive and complementary data and reporting strategies and implementations. These strategies will provide the framework to mature data foundations, analytics capabilities and mathematical applications that drive the business; partner with upstream teams to understand and embrace enterprise, source system, and technology strategies to ensure that products within your scope align to these strategies; develop an understanding of the market, maintain a product roadmap. Tools and technologies used: SQL, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tool, Data Exploration Tool, Data Visualization Tool, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, Advance Excel, Metadata Tool, ServiceNow, R, Python, Figma, and Miro. Position includes a telecommute benefit within commuting distance to Minneapolis-area Target office, as directed.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a closely related field and at least three (3) years of experience as a Product Manager or closely related managing operational forecasting, tracking KPIs, performing trend and competitive analysis, monitoring product performance, performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to determine product features mix, and using the following tools and technologies: SQL, Advance Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, R, and Python. Position includes a telecommute benefit within commuting distance to Minneapolis-area Target office, as directed.
