Description: The pay range is $109,000.00 - $196,200.00

You will also be working closely with Cybersecurity stakeholders to develop and continually improve our visibility posture so network-based threats can be detected.

About You

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' of network engineering or network visibility architecture and design
• Demonstrates strong domain-specific knowledge regarding network traffic aggregation, TAPs/SPANs, and load balanced architectures
• Demonstrates expertise in analysis of network protocols and captured network traffic
• Effectively communicate engineering solutions through detailed high- and low-level diagrams
• Demonstrates expertise in analysis and optimization of systems capacity, performance, and operational health
• Maintains deep technical knowledge within areas of expertise
• Stays current with new technologies via formal training and self-directed education
• Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills

Additional skills we are interested in:

• Scripting/Programming proficiency: Python, Bash, Go
• Experience with API Development
• Switching/Packet Brokers: Cisco, Cumulus, Sonic
• Experience developing monitoring/testing frameworks
• System Configuration Management and Orchestration: SaltStack, Ansible
• Experience with: Linux, Docker, git

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
