Description: The pay range is $109,000.00 - $196,200.00

You will also be working closely with Cybersecurity stakeholders to ensure mission critical applications meet the performance, uptime, and growth needs of the Cybersecurity organization.

About You
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years' of Linux Systems Administration
  • Proven implementation/deployment experience and knowledge with strong ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues ranging from system resources to application stack traces.
  • Demonstrates expertise in management of large-scale deployments using scripting, configuration management tools, and automation frameworks
  • Solid understanding of agile delivery, software development life cycle, test driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Effectively communicate engineering solutions through detailed high- and low-level diagrams
  • Demonstrates expertise in analysis and optimization of systems capacity, performance, and operational health
  • Maintains deep technical knowledge within areas of expertise
  • Stays current with new technologies via formal training and self-directed education
  • Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills


Additional skills we are interested in:
  • Scripting/Programming proficiency: Python, Bash, Go, or similar
  • System Configuration Management and Orchestration: SaltStack, Ansible
  • Linux Administration: Ubuntu, CentOS, KVM, eBPF
  • Experience with: Docker, git, Filebeat, Grafana, Telegraf, Zabbix
  • General Networking Knowledge: SPAN, ERSPAN, L2GRE, Link Aggregation, Bonding


This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
