As Director of Property Accounting,
you will lead a team responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of Target's property, equipment, and other long-lived assets, including operating and finance leased assets. You'll develop and maintain strong relationships with external and internal auditors, influencing key accounting and control decisions. You'll set strategic direction for analyzing and researching activity driving integrity in property accounting. You'll work with partners across the entire organization to influence strategic initiatives and decisions on property-related matters. You'll also influence partners across the organization in the development, testing and integration of new system technologies and related processes and financial controls.

- Four-year degree, preferably in accounting, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of business experience, preferably with some experience related to retail accounting and internal controls
- Substantial experience in accounting and controls related to long-lived assets and leases
- Hands on experience with system conversion and related process and controls implementation
- Continuous improvement mind set to drive efficiency and reduce risk through process refinement, automation and leveraging technologies
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop team members with diverse experiences and backgrounds
- Ability to manage multiple/changing priorities
- CPA preferred
