About This Opportunity - Data Center Infrastructure Engineer
This position is responsible for the support and maintenance of all central plant equipment and raised floor hardware at Target's enterprise data centers. This includes supporting the layout of the raised floor, power and network connectivity management and full inventory management.

• Serve as an escalation point for incident management in support of power and cooling infrastructure
• Create operational procedures for staff and vendor maintenance
• Schedule, track and provide oversight to vendor maintenance
• Establish data center best practices and standards
• Discover training needs and provide coaching
• Cover open shifts if technician schedules can't be backfilled
• Identify data center reliability trends and risks
• Support problem management to help resolve hardware, operational and application issues in support of power and cooling equipment
• Assist with Data Center Capacity Management
• Contribute to construction activities ensuring architectural and operational requirements are met

Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years total work experience in environments containing electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and UPS systems
• Has in-depth knowledge of state-of-the art engineering technical approaches in design, build, testing, debugging problems as required by domain
• Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise
• Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
