Description: The pay range is $87,900.00 - $158,200.00

Working within Tax, your mission will be to drive value-added work and support our core retail business goals. Our tax team focuses on all aspects of tax reporting including enhancing productivity and efficiency of core compliance through process and technology, monitoring tax risk and opportunities across all tax disciplines, engaging and educating Finance and the broader organization regarding tax considerations, and prioritizing team resources to support key work streams.
As a Sr. Manager, Tax Technology you will be responsible for the realization of optimized tax operations, compliance, and controls. You will build, engage and develop a diverse, high performing and agile team. You will collaborate with tax leaders to define, modify, and carry out our tax technology strategy. You will coordinate cross-functionally with several business partners - including tax, tech, product, and data sciences teams - to help identify technology needs and drive related solutions. You will help our team continue to develop their analytics and automation skills due to your partnership and execution of our data and automation learning model.
In this role, you will leverage your analytical expertise, risk mindset, inquisitive nature, and business process knowledge to draw out requirements and generate compelling, data driven stories for leadership while working on a wide range of strategic priorities. You will assist in supporting career growth and talent development of the team. You will be seen as a change agent, driving adoption across new processes and tools while helping Tax develop skills to glean insights from data. You will foster your personal development by innovating processes across Tax drawing from industry trends, market best practices, and emerging risks, gaining unique experiences supporting a meaningful career.

About you:
- Four-year degree, preferably in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance or Business-related area, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience using and/or configuring Tax software across tax functions.
- Background in Tax with experience at a public accounting firm or equivalent experience in a large corporation.
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop team members with diverse experiences and backgrounds.
- Proven ability to influence business partners horizontally and vertically to drive meaningful cross-functional change.
- Ability to investigate, strategize, and solve problems while working with ambiguity.
- Proven ability to effectively develop, manage, and inspire team members and work together as a team.
- Demonstrated understanding and capabilities using data and analytical tools including Excel, Alteryx and data visualization tools (Domo, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience advocating for tax matters.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
