ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST - SNBC

Work Location: Work from Home

Position Description

As an Enrollment Specialist - SNBC, you will be responsible for researching and configuring monthly SNBC enrollment reports and to provide enrollment support to the SNBC team. You meet this need through the use of data analytics, identifying member clinic affiliations, investigating MMIS entries and attaching information into GuidingCare (UCare's Care Management System). Collaborate with counties and care systems to ensure accuracy in assignment of cases and clinics; including coordinating and responding to clinic change requests for SNBC members.

• Configure enrollment report through complex data analytics. Search MMIS and MnCHOICES and attach most recent entries and documents in Guiding Care for each member.

• Collaborate with Connect Intake and/or Billing and Enrollment to ensure any enrollment discrepancies are resolved within the month of enrollment.

• Serve as the primary resource for enrollment and clinic questions for the SNBC Team.

• Assign Care Coordinators in GuidingCare and open programs to support the SNBC team.

• Ensure welcome letters and change in Care Coordinator letters are sent to members within 10 business days of enrollment.

• Support collaboration between MnCHOICES and GuidingCare by uploading and attaching documents and establishing member profiles.

• Support internal transfers between Unable to Reach/Refusal team and ongoing Care Coordination team monthly.

• Assist Care Navigators and Connect Intake team, as needed, to ensure business requirements are met.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent. Two-year degree in health related or insurance field with medical terminology course preferred.

Required Experience

Three years of experience in a community health organization. Intermediate experience with Excel. Customer service experience.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with state and federally funded programs. Experience working for a health maintenance organization (HMO) serving members with Medicare and/or Medicaid coverage. Experience in working with culturally diverse populations, underserved populations, or the frail elderly. Bilingual in Hmong, Spanish, Russian, Somali or Vietnamese.
