INTRODUCTION:INVENTORY CONTROL COORDINATOR
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) University Staff position that reports to the Supervisor of Materials Management. This position is responsible for arranging departmental retrieval and departmental delivery of surplus property, public customer order pick-ups, surplus property assessment, determining and testing of property for functionality, identification of fixed asset property for inventory disposal, and of in-house store sales. This position is also responsible for afternoon deliveries for Mail Services. As needed, this position will float back and forth between Surplus and Mail Services to provide coverage. • Working knowledge of desktop hardware and standard business software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet.
• Good Work habits, such as attendance, punctuality, accountability, thoroughness, and resourcefulness.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license
• Ability to lift and carry up to 58 pounds; bend, stoop, twist, pull and push.
• Mechanical aptitude including the use of common hand tools. Highly Desired
• Customer service experience.
• Forklift certification or the ability obtain certification.
• Ability to utilize pallet jacks and operate campus vehicles throughout the day.
