SENIOR ENGINEER

IBM Corporation, Rochester, MN: Coordinate various phases of the array design process. Work with the architecture/logic team to define the Array micro-architecture then start to build cross-section to demonstrate that the array performance meets project requirements. Work on schematic design and circuit timing to verify required function and performance. Work on layout implementation. Conduct electrical checks to validate current, voltage and power meet project requirements and adhere to process technology limits. Lead a team of Array design engineers to successfully complete design of several on chip memory arrays. Ensure the Array design passes all manufacturing tests. Work with the internal research team and the FAB team to understand the technology sensitivities related to the unique circuits required for these advanced, custom array designs. Utilize: Low power designs techniques, Synthesis flow and tools, Hardware test such as ABIST/LBIST testing, Dynamic circuit analysis, Statistical analysis – Monte Carlo,

Timing/Power methodology and tools, Electromigration IR analysis and fixes. Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related and two (2) years of experience as a Engineer, Custom Circuit Designer or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Low power designs techniques, Synthesis flow and tools, Hardware test such as

ABIST/LBIST testing, Dynamic
