About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in the MEP or AEC industry. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in electrical design and project management, contributing to the successful delivery of diverse and complex projects. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in leading electrical design efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical design process, including the development of power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to client requirements and industry standards.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines, and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve issues.
• Ensure all electrical designs meet relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct thorough reviews of project documentation to guarantee accuracy and quality.
• Implement best practices for quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding electrical engineering aspects of projects.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, address concerns, and present technical solutions.
• Integrate innovative solutions into project designs to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and overall project performance.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on the AEC industry.
• Proven project management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, and client interaction; demonstrating successful project delivery and team leadership..
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team.
