The Environmental Services Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the activities of the housekeeping and laundry personnel to ensure the buildings are in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition. Ensures laundry is sorted, laundered and distributed per community standards. Supervises all housekeeping and laundry staff.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and schedule the housekeeping and laundry staff including conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed, tracking work in the preventive maintenance software system.
- Maintains department housekeeping and laundry budget.
- Trains new staff, monitors work performed, and communicates procedures and job expectations.
- Procurement of housekeeping and laundry supplies and equipment.
- Participates in capital planning process.
- Adheres to all local, state and federal compliance requirements, maintaining accurate records.
- Promotes safety with staff and reports all safety concerns to proper personnel.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping experience required, preferably in a health care setting.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written formats
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations
- Previous supervisory experience.
