Description: The pay range is $89,700.00 - $161,500.00

As a Lead Strategist on the Properties Strategy and Operations team, you will play a critical role developing and defining the strategy for Properties and enterprise initiatives guided by Target's Enterprise strategies. You will identify connected strategic opportunities across our total portfolio of capabilities and lead cross-functional teams to develop actionable solutions that drive guest preference, financial performance, and operational excellence. While your projects will evolve based on the needs of the business, the work will be high scope and impact multiple teams across the enterprise. Key goals will include:
  • Scope, develop, and activate cross-capability strategic priorities in service of our vision and Enterprise LRP
  • Collaborate and build relationships with Enterprise facing senior leaders to align and activate strategies
  • Create and lead diverse cross-functional teams of peers and leaders from across the Enterprise
  • Drive connections and clarity between Properties and Enterprise work while navigating ambiguity


About you:
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • High level of resiliency, personal accountability, collaboration and high comfort with ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated success leading Cross-functional work beyond scope of job responsibilities
  • Outstanding analytical and communication skills - an ability to listen for and filter robust inputs to make quick connections and communicate the most critical points in a clear, simple and actionable way - both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and translate strategy to action and adjust strategy based on operational capabilities.
  • Demonstrated high sense of curiosity and ability to drive clarity via storytelling.
  • Ability to stay objective in the face of complexity and opposing viewpoints.
  • Understanding of the Target Brand.


This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
