The Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Lead will be responsible for the creation, selection, validation, approval and flawless implementation and acceptance of value-added processes and technologies for the supply chain function in every current and future plants and warehouses managed by Heliene or third parties. This position could be remote work with frequent travel to the operational facilities.
- Identify best in class practices for supply chain management, assess current state and quantify/ qualify the actual and future benefits for Heliene
- Use continuous improvement tools (lean, six sigma), project management and change management to improve organizational processes and guide transformation activities
- Gather and normalized data, perform statistical, trend, root cause and benchmarking analysis, and provide recommendations based on results
- Prioritize initiatives for supply chain team based on effort / benefit and manage a sound approval and review process
- In collaboration with IT, search, and lead supplier selection and management for innovative technologies enabling best practices for supply chain
- Consult, align and communicate with other departments, plants, and warehouses to ensure smooth deployment of approved initiatives
- Implement improvements including developing the plan/milestones, leading workshops, and monitoring progress
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management with five (5) years' experience in the field of continuous improvement, analytics, project management, information technology, business analysis or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Highly proficient with supply chain management concepts, processes and KPI
- Demonstrated capabilities of leading Supply Chain transformation project
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Previous ERP experience (preferably Microsoft Business Central)
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Six Sigma - Green Belt Certification is an asset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work cross departmentally to achieve results
- Valid Passport required with ability to travel in USA and Canada
