SENIOR ENGINEER

Target Enterprise, Inc. seeks a full- time Senior Engineer. The Senior Engineer serves as a technical specialist delivering the engineering that powers the product. This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in software engineering. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience in software engineering. Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) designing and implementing Big Data applications to process huge amount of data in both Batch and Streaming fashion (low-latent processing) efficiently; (2) architecting and implementing Microservices and ETL pipelines; (3) working with cloud platforms; (4) leading tech projects, conducting architectural design reviews, code reviews, testing, and implementing DevOps experience; and (5) working with technologies including: Hadoop, Yarn, Apache Crunch, Apache Storm, Oozie, Kafka, Hive, Hue, AWS, Java/Scala, Git, Docker, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Kubernetes, Splunk and Grafana.
