Our client is a diversified industrial equipment and textiles manufacturer. With more than 40 years of experience, they are shaping the future by creating products that solve problems, simplify processes, and provide consistent performance for hydraulic and pneumatic applications. A growing company in Monticello, MN, they develop, create, sew and assemble products in-house with the goal of improving their customers’ equipment performance while providing safety, energy efficiency, reliability and protection for people and equipment.

As a regional sales manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients. You will develop a deep understanding of their needs and provide them with tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals. You will also be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, conducting sales presentations, and negotiating contracts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding targets in a fast-paced environment.


  • Manage and identify growth potential of existing book of business for a specific product line, working with equipment manufacturers (OEMs) or distributors when appropriate
  • Actively prospect and source new business opportunities; manage incoming lead pipeline, maintaining high lead-to-sales close conversion rates
  • Assist in training seminars, webinars, and trade shows as required to support business and product strategies
  • Analyze and prepare sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identify needs to be filled; monitor competitive products; analyze and relay customer reactions
  • Provide accurate reporting and forecasting: CRM, sales pipeline forecasting, order administration, and proposal preparations
  • Support divisional sales initiatives in order to grow national accounts and achieve related business unit goals and objectives
  • Ascertain that self and company sales targets are met on a consistent basis and ensure that any constraints are communicated to sales representatives, product managers and executives
  • Propose custom and configured solutions to OEMs by preparing specifications and conferring with product managers and engineering; balance the needs of the market within the capabilities, competencies, and resources of the company


  • 2+ years’ sales experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous work experience utilizing CRM software is preferred; ZoHo is a plus


  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% annually
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
