The Assistant Executive Director, LNHA position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a care center and related business lines works with the Executive Director. This position works with and reports to the site Executive Director and will step in for the Executive Director in their absence. The responsibilities will include staffing, financial management, supervising resident care, marketing and community outreach. Strong knowledge of federal, state and local standards for all business lines is essential in this position.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Works in conjunction with the Executive Director ensuring the quality of resident services through planning, implementing, evaluating, and delegating authority to appropriate staff to ensure that programs and services are maintained.
- Assists with budgets, and plans, implements and evaluates an integrated financial program with necessary financial controls in order to keep operations within budget.
- Plans and implements the coordination of recruitment, hiring, training mentorship, retention, and evaluation of staff. Provides leadership in areas of employee and labor relations.
- Directs and ensures compliance with all required government regulations, (e.g. Federal, State, Local, VA, OSHA, OFCCP, and various licensing agencies).
- Plans future programs on growth, expansion, building and staffing by identifying objectives through strategic planning.
- Plans public relations programs to enhance the image all services in general.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Licensure/Certification: Active, unrestricted Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD), or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire and Nursing Home license (LNHA) in state of assignment or Health Services Executive (HSE)
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field plus completion of additional post-graduate coursework required for Nursing Home Administrator licensure
- Previous experience in a leadership position
- Previous senior care experience
- Licensure/Certification: Nursing Home license in state of assignment
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats, individually and to groups
- Ability to use Microsoft Suite and Google products
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations
- Master's degree in related field
- Demonstrated continued Education to maintain license
- 5+ year nursing home site leadership
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting as well as strong networking experience
- Previous experience with non-profit organizations
