ABOUT YOU:

The company is seeking an energetic, passionate, self-motivated Sr. Accountant to join their growing team. They are a CPA firm dedicated to excellent client service with tax, consulting and accounting work. The ideal candidate must exhibit exceptional client service and professionalism in all interaction and communication, high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive information, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of complex returns

Initial review of tax returns

Estimate and tax planning

Perform tax research projects as assigned

Managing clients accounting on a monthly basis including:

Reconcile Financial Statements

Enter key data into Excel and other programs for financial analytics

Prepares and maintains financial data & records

Communicating with clients on day to day issues in a timely manner

Perform tax research projects as assigned

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely manner

Strong attention to detail, focus on accuracy, and methodical on process in concurrent projects

Excellent follow through with willingness to do what it takes to complete a task

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of public accounting experience in tax with advanced technical knowledge

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Proficient with QuickBooks desktop and online

Experience with CCH Axcess and Engagement a plus

CPA or CPA eligible preferred
