The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant reports to the Occupational Therapist. The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, with minimal supervision, is responsible for organizing, developing, and directing occupational therapy services in accordance with the standards and practices of occupational therapy, state, federal, and Minnesota Masonic Home's regulations, policies, and procedures. The COTA assures that the highest degree of quality resident care, customer service, fiscal responsibility and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times. Must be pleasant, respectful, and courteous to residents, family members, visitors, and fellow employees at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an American Occupational therapy (AOTA) accredited program for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. Experience in adult acute and long-term care facility desired, but not required.
