PROJECT EXECUTIVE

M. A. Mortenson Company seeks a full-time Project Executive based in Minneapolis, MN. The Project Executive provides overall management for large construction projects, including leading the project team and ensuring key and successful customer relations. This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and eight (8) years of related experience in the construction industry. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and ten (10) years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience in the construction industry. Must also have 24 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) interpreting project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft persons; (2) drafting contract agreements and managing contracts for construction projects, including managing insurance, bonds, and other contractual risk associated; (3) reviewing work of project team on construction projects; (4) managing quality, risk, safety, and compliance for construction projects, including utilizing understanding of building codes and specification, interpreting codes, and working with local jurisdiction officials to resolve construction project issues; (5) working on at least two construction projects valued at least at $20 million with responsibility for fulfillment of development to closeout; and (6) utilizing the following tools and technologies: Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Oracle Project Cost Issue Management (PCIM), Oracle Project Financial Management (PFM), Oracle Textura, Powerproject, Power BI, Procore Project Management, Procore Financial Management, and Procore Field Tools.
