The University of Wisconsin-Stout, Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, invites qualified candidates to apply for our Assistant Director of Admissions position. The Assistant Director of Admissions is an integral part of the Admissions Department, within the Enrollment and Strategic Initiatives division.
This position reports to the Director of Admissions and plays a critical role in managing the admissions process, ensuring efficient operations, and driving enrollment efforts. The position in collaboration with IT, manages the customer relationship management (CRM) software system and the integrations from various systems that supply data for use in recruitment, communications, and analysis. As part of the CRM, Salesforce instance, this position will support the following tools: Pardot (communication), Mogli (texting), Smartsheets, Informatica, and Form Assembly.
This position involves supervision of the admissions processing staff; management of the day-to-day operations related to application processing; develop and implement yield work and enrollment campaigns and be responsible for communication management to ensure effective engagement with prospective students and other stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum / Required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Experience using and/or developing software applications such as CRM or other technology systems
- Experience in higher education (admissions, student services, etc.) or relevant sales/business environment
- Ability to discern data needs and ask appropriate probing questions to ensure proper output
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Project management skills, including the ability to set timelines, identify and handle multiple priorities, organize tasks for information system upgrades, enhancement, and new implementations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Master's degree
- Experience with Student Information System software (ex: PeopleSoft)
- Experience with CRM Software (ex: Salesforce)
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable strategies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- CRM Salesforce Management: Provide strategic leadership for Admissions operations. This includes CRM management and integrations from various data systems.
- Supervision and Management of Admissions Processing Staff and Operations: Manage day-to-day operations and supervise Admissions processing team.
- Yield Work/Enrollment Campaigns: Provide leadership for data analysis, strategy, and implementation of enrollment tactics.
- Communication Management: Assist with coordination of admissions materials.
DEPARTMENT INFORMATION
UW-Stout's Enrollment and Strategic Initiatives division is responsible for all aspects of university enrollment management. The division includes Admissions, Registration and Records, Financial Aid, Advisement, and Educational Pathways & Outreach, which includes Stout Online and Professional Education Programs & Services.
The Admissions Office is responsible for recruiting and admitting undergraduate, graduate and transfer students. The Admissions Office hosts formal tours for prospective students and oversees the processing of undergraduate applications and transfer credits. Prospective students can apply directly to UW-Stout through the Universities of Wisconsin website.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Minimum annual starting salary of $59,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. UW System provides an excellent benefits package including participation in the Wisconsin State retirement plan, demonstrating our commitment to the diverse needs of our employees.
