Best Buy Co. has an opening in Richfield, Minnesota for the position of Senior Product Manager BI & Analytical Tools Migration. Manage information technology project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems. Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables. Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Assess current or future customer needs and priorities by communicating directly with customers, conducting surveys, or other methods. Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans. Serve a liaison between business and technical aspects of business intelligence projects. Develop a BI & Analytical tools migration strategy; determine and recommend tools based on data product use cases, including change management and communication plan; implement industry best practices and standards; bring awareness to techniques/tools available to use. Articulate, prioritize and roadmap business needs for analytics tools; identify capability gaps, partner with Tool Strategy Product Manager to research & assess tools for projects. Effectively craft clear product outcomes and vision for complex products with limited supervision, demonstrating understanding of the goals and organizational needs. Connect Best Buy's broader strategic vision to product and product vision for projects. Effectively translate business strategies into product strategies, value increments, and product specifications to deliver against our core customer value propositions, and our company strategic and financial goals. Full requirements: Bachelor's degree in any IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technology field, plus five (5) years of progressive, post-bachelor's degree experience in each of the following: product management (Development, User experience, Strategy, etc.), BI / Analytical tools, strategy creation, customer-focused solutioning, and cross-functional leadership. Experience must also include direct people management and team management.
