SOFTWARE ENGINEER II

Best Buy has an opening in Richfield, MN for a Software Engineer II position. Analyze existing systems and capabilities along with new engineering workflows, relevant science and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures or documentation. Lead testing scenarios and testing coordination with multiple teams on large programs. Identify holes in engineering workflow and collaborate with Product to resolve them. Responsible for driving automation of Integration tests and/or program or product testing, and monitoring quality process and standards, ensuring the user requirements are testable. Multiple positions available. Requires Bachelor's deg. or equiv. foreign deg. in Elec. Eng., Comp. Sci., or Info. Tech., plus at least 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate exp. in software/web development and tracking and reporting test automation metrics. At least 2 years of this exp. must include using Agile methodology and implementing and deploying modern web development solutions utilizing the following tools: Java, HTML, XML, RESTful webservices, and/or MySQL. $114,358/yr to $114,358/yr.
