GN Consumer Hearing Corporation (d/b/a Jabra Hearing) has an opening for the position of VP of Software Engineering, Growth, based out its corporate headquarters in Bloomington, MN. The position offers a telecommuting benefit allowing the employee to work fully remotely from anywhere in the contiguous US. Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of designs. Build reusable JS code and libraries for future use across the company’s products. Determine system performance standards in alignment with broader company goals. Oversee the work of junior engineers and project managers. Pay range: $291,500 to $325,000 and standard company benefits. Full Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Science and Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field in the area of technology plus at least 6 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience as a software engineer. Entirety of exp. must include (1) working with CSS, HTML rendering and modern JavaScript libraries and tooling; (2) applying Single Page App and server side technologies (Node.js and/or Java); and (3) using at least one of the following: Conversion Optimization, A/B testing, Web and Mobile Performance Optimization, and/or CSS/SVG animations. 3 years of this qualifying experience must also include experience working with React.js and Server Side rendering and 1 year of this qualifying experience must include overseeing and mentoring junior engineers.
