Homemaker - Full-Time Days 8am-4:30pm - 72-80 hours every 2 weeks - No Holidays & No Weekends - We offer excellent benefits, PTO/Sick Time, 401K with up to 6% match, mileage Reimbursement and so much more! The Homemaker provides one-on-one social interaction as well as assistance with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation for the client to ensure the client can safely remain in the home.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  1. Provides assistance with light housekeeping and laundry duties and other tasks per schedule or request.
  2. Observes client and reports changes in physical and emotional condition to the Clinical Director.
  3. Prepares and plans meals as directed and follows special meal plans as needed.
  4. Provides companionship to the client such as conversation, watching television or playing cards.
  5. Provides medication reminders.
  6. Maintains privacy and confidentiality of client, client's records and client's living environment.
  7. Responds appropriately to safety hazards, fire and other emergency situations.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

Homemaker Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to effectively communicate messages both verbally and in a written format
  • Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in Healthcare
  • Previous experience working with seniors
