ENGINEER LEAD

Best Buy has openings in Richfield, MN for the position of Engineer Lead. This position provides a telecommuting benefit allowing the employee to reside anywhere in the continental U.S. Maintain medium to large applications and services, in accordance with company methodologies, technical standards, and time and budget estimates. Support in the process of developing, and documenting tech designs, code reviews, and design reviews based on business requirements. Coordinate with Quality Eng. team to ensure they have the information they need to perform their testing, and report back any defects to engineers as needed. There are multiple openings for this role. Requires Master's degree or equiv. frgn deg. in Comp. Info, Syst. & Info. Security, Comp. Sci., Info. Tech., or a closely related tech. specialty. Requires at least 3 years of exp. analyzing, developing, and defining data and requirements for software products. At least 2 years of this exp. must include exp. in Agile methodology; using Oracle, SQL, Java, and/or HTML; and working cross-functionally with eng. teams, product mgrs, and/or biz teams. In the alternative, will also accept a Bach. deg. or equiv. frgn. Deg. in Comp. Info. Syst. & Info. Security, Comp. Sci., Info. Tech., or a closely related tech. specialty, plus at least 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate exp. analyzing, developing, and defining data and requirements for software products, 2 years of which must include exp. in Agile methodology; using Oracle, SQL, Java, and/or HTML; and working cross-functionally with eng. teams, product mgrs, and/or biz teams. Pay ranges from $127,712/yr to $127,712/yr.
